About
On May 1st, 2023 the Writers Guild of America, East and West, called a strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
There are many reasons WGA writers and the studios failed to reach an agreement, but to put it succinctly: the studios continue to generate billions of dollars in revenue while writers – especially those entering the industry – aren’t compensated enough to afford rent, groceries, car payments, etc. This is a trend that’s been amplified by the streaming era, as those companies have used loopholes to produce more content while paying writers less. To be clear: this is an existential threat to writers in the TV/film industry. We must fight and win now before it’s too late.
What’s happening here is happening everywhere in all industries. If we can stand up to the studios and win, other workers in similar situations will hopefully feel empowered do the same.

As of May 12, 2023, all short-sleeve unisex shirts are 100% made in USA. We are working hard to have ALL shirts on this site union-made in the USA. Please bear with us as we make that happen.
ALL SHIRTS ARE PRINTED IN A UNION SHOP.
WHY BUY A SHIRT?
1) You’re a WGA member – or one of our dear friends in IATSE, Teamsters, SAG-AFTRA, TAG and beyond – walking the picket lines everyday (and/or agreeing not to cross the strike line). You have pounded the pavement wearing that one WGA shirt you’ve got. It doesn’t smell great. You deserve to have multiple t-shirt options in your picketing arsenal.
2) You’re not on the picket line, but you still want to support writers by walking around as a human billboard.
3) You’re an intelligent and compassionate human being and you’re looking out for the writers, support staff and other tv/film workers who are in financial need during the strike. We see you. We love you. We hope you look good in your new t-shirt.
So what are you waiting for… SUPPORT THE WGA & WEAR A KICK-ASS T-SHIRT!
This site is not an official website of the WGA in any way, shape or form.
That said, this site is an official website of a WGA member who cares a hell of a lot.
